iNet Personal is an innovative product spawned from it's larger enterprise-wide solution counterpart, iNet Enterprise. It passively listens to incoming and outgoing packets from the network and performs similarity measurement on these packets to the signature database. Worms traverse through the network leaving certain signatures on the packet itself. These signatures are part of the packet payload. Signatures could be file attachment names, file extensions, email subjects, email content and key words. Each packet's payload is then matched against available signature.
